Adopt a Park Guard
The work of conservation means that we need park guards to monitor the zone. At the present time we have only 3 park guards for the entire 119 mil hectares (460 sq. miles) of the Reserve!!!! Park guards are of vital importance in order to monitor species, detect fires, prevent invasions of protected zones, and take care of the species that inhabit the Reserve, and as promoters of the cause of conservation among the Reserve's inhabitants.
When you adopt a park guard, you will be giving a person work and will also be sponsoring one of the most important activities that contribute to conserving the natural resources of the Reserve.
The minimum commitment is for one year, providing
10,000.00 pesos ($900 USD) per month, which includes
salary with the benefits provided by law, training
and uniform.
